Presidents’ Day 2012 is celebrated on 3rd Monday of every February. Honoring your president is one of the most important patriotic natures. The Presidents’ Day is celebrated on the third Monday of every February. As in 2012 the Presidents’ Day will be celebrated on the Monday, February 20th. Some States pay special attention to Abraham Lincoln as his birthday is also a part of the Presidents’ Day and also comes in the mid of February as it is on the 12th February. In these weeks when these particular holidays are being observed several celebrations are made to praise their presidents. Schools organize special events and lessons for the students on the account of the life and the work of their late presidents. It is also the important day on which the store starts their sales records. Although the federal holiday on interpretation of Washington’s Birthday 2012 is the third Monday of February each year but records shows that the birthday of Washington is on the 22nd of February.
Schools in these respective weeks are closed for the entire weeks as their winter recess. Courier services except the national courier service are kept open. Store fronts are also kept open and many stores start their sales from the Presidents’ Day 2012. Celebration all over the states is observed which shows the positive approach of the people and the good image they have established regarding their presidents in their minds.
